This project started off as a celebration of youth but then I began to love it more because it became personal to me. When I was a young gril all the way through my teens I was never in touch with my feminine side. I was a total tom boy preferring sneakers over sandals, flats and heels. I started to become more in touch with my feminine side until after high school when I began to take my body more into account in terms of being healthy and working out. I discovered make up and how you could fix things you didn't feel comfortable about yourself. When I was younger much of my hair fell out when my father became sick so it was comforting to know I could "buy" what I wanted to fix (hence the hair for the background). This project is dedicated to all woman who found themselves and embrace their femininity.
