"Raq'N! by Anka Kusu
Medium: Pen and ink, Photoshop,CS5, parchment paper, Typography.
Debut CD for the performance troupe "Anka Kusu" or Phoenix (Turk).
Multi layered flame job plays into the Debut CD for the performance troupe "Anka Kusu". In keeping with the phoenix theme, I decided to go with a fire motif, and use the existing logos and text that I had already created.
This also tied in nicely with the t-shirts that were produced.
In order to create the fire, I used the airbrush and smudge tools in photoshop on various layers. The parchment actually is a piece of parchment paper that a took a match to, then scanned it in.
