The tovaform POP headphones project redefines consumer electronics by merging sustainable design with unparalleled repairability, durability and user-centric innovation. Inspired by evolving global regulations and the growing imperative to reduce e-waste. This project investigates the drawbacks of conventional headphone designs—dominated by non-recyclable plastics and complex, unrepairable construction—and introduces a forward-thinking, modular approach. Utilizing premium materials such as real leather, recycled aluminum, wool felt, and spring steel, the design seamlessly integrates snap-fit mechanisms to enable tool-free disassembly, rapid repair, and straightforward end-of-life recycling, thereby extending the product's lifespan and reducing its environmental impact.
