The Cadillac Eterna was a corporate-sponsored project class for the Spring 2025 semester. at the Academy of Art University. A team from Cadillac was assigned to assist and judge a handful of multidisciplinary projects from several student teams. Our design brief for this project was relatively simple: Define the future of Luxury with Cadillac.
Our team proposed a simple concept: "Time is Luxury." Time is the most valuable resource; therefore, time well spent should be the ultimate luxury. The Eterna was designed with the purpose of fully autonomous operation, and not only served as a mobile lounge, but also as a chauffeur and a delivery vehicle. This ensured that the user could save as much time possible to spend with their family. In addition to this, the vehicle would become part of a larger automation ecosystem that included an autonomous robot assistant and a smart home suite that was integrated into the vehicle and home as part of “The Cadillac Lifestyle Experience.”
