JUPITER

Artwork for George Haydock's first fiction film Jupiter.
“Jupiter for me was a project about two things. Firstly it was about exploring ideas about the nature of being a person in a very confusing existence. The second was to explore a different way to tell a story.

For a while I’ve been reading and listening to ideas about consciousness and existence. I also began reading about space – something which is an eternal mystery. Viewing life through these two things there seemed to be a large paradox. Everything is separate, but everything is connected. That is what I wanted Jupiter to be. Because this is currently how I see life. Everything and everyone are separate and disconnected… but to contradict this we all share everything in common.

Through film, I wanted to create a unique way to explore this idea of duality – separation and connection.
