I think I get a a lot of comments about the wind. blowing from side. SO in next version, I should make it with perforated sheet metal or something. How does that sound?

for this, its concept art put into a 3d program. making this completely flat panel even with perforations wont solve the problem, no matter how you think of it. youd have to remove the panel all together. BUT this is gorgeous to see in 3d and you did a great job aesthetically tuning it to a nice look. nice work.

  • Greg Narvas

Awesome concept. Regarding the issue of the surface area and impact of wind, have you considered how much of that material you actually need? Are there essential components that absolutely need to be housed within that flat panel? There's a lot of potential for streamlining, which would result in a superb solution. Keep up the great work.

  • Yuji Fujimura

Thank you for all the comments and input! As you mentioned, I am aware about wind issue that I think I can solve by using fine mesh as outer shell. Other wise this bicycle will be used only at indoor. I am designing version 3 which all the feedback shall put together. I am also started to think of building first physical prototype!
