There are no lyrics on Miles' Davis ground-breaking album Birth of the Cool [except for 'Darn that Dream,' which--no], so I instead played with the iconic album art. It became the flagship of my 'Cooler Heads Prevail' series.

Hibbleton Gallery Group Show: 'Shuffle' ---> 'Cooler Heads Prevail'
The three painted pieces were for a group show in which each artist created a piece of art inspired by music. The show took place at the Hibbleton Gallery in downtown Fullerton, CA in 2010. Oil on 13" square earthenware tiles. Sorry about the glare.
