I choose cane and leather to create a lamp of spiral form. The property of cane that is used here is the ability to flex to great extent to provide structural support to the lamp. The leather provides translucency( half cut or split ) , where the differential thickness and thinness of the leather provides interesting colors from yellow to orange to red. The spiral form helps the lamp to fold and bend in many ways. The form also helps in connecting two surface to light up corners ( two walls ).
