Upon Reflection
My favourite photograph taken whilst on a journey around the grounds of Elavaston Castle, was this image. The mirrored reflection of the building in the water gives the viewer something to focus on and the framing of the trees makes the image look even more mysterious. It is also one of the very few images I have produced which doesn't necessarily need the use of the "Rule of Thirds" when photographing as the reflection plays a trick on the mind with depth.

During a visit to Elvaston Castle I trudged my way through fields and forests, climbed stone walls and even got permission to enter the barns on site which are usually off limits to the public. Luckily I had my camera with me and captured some weird and wonderful memories along with my favorite photo ~ "Upon Reflection" .
