Paste table - The final major project of the first year involved me designing a product that would help solve a problem relating to any self DIY task. The final model shown here is a half sized pasting table that is used to dispense, measure, paste and fold wallpaper.
Injection moulding tool - This mould was created as part of a module in a design team of 5. We were set the task to design and manufacture a specificly shaped pp and pe cap from the mould. The mould itself was created using a lathe.

We had to consider mass waste in modern society and ways in which we could use these materials to remake new products. Here, i used playing cards to create a pen holder to be used on receptions in such places as casino's or simply for the novilty of home use.

Testing design - This module from the second year required a design team of 5 to design and create a working toy crane for children. The crane was created in solidworks and tested using cosmos flo to test factors such as strength and forces applied. The results from these were used to optimise the design to improve it until it reached a level where it could be put into manufacturing. The body of the crane was manufactured using a 3d printer.
