Automated Dosage Dispenser - The aim of this project was to design a product that would be able to reduce the number of incidents where patients would forget to take their medication at the correct time or in some cases not at all. The ADD uses a microcontroller to alert the user via a buzzer and an LED and it is able to lock and unlock the mechanism to prevent the user getting access to the medication at the incorrect times. Helpers are able to program the alarm times using the one touch buttons and review the times that the patients took the medication using the LCD on the base of the product.
