Phoenix Awards - The name Phoenix derives from the mythical bird which was said to renew itself by building a nest of twigs and igniting it before emerging from the fire and ashes to be born again. In the same way, creative people renew their ideas after each project, conceiving a new concept which they again bring to fruition, thus creating a continuing cycle. The red and gold bird also represents the colour and beauty of much cinematographic production. http://www.phoenixfilmawards.com/
