BILL'S ON GREENWOOD

Bill's is a well loved local sports bar establishment on Capitol Hill. They opened a second location in Greenwood. The challenge was to create a space that felt like their original space but more unified. The long narrow layout was also a challenge. I was brought on before construction began to develop the concept, the floor schematic and lighting plan as well as to help source materials.

I designed three dining zones to give the overall space visual interest: low bench seats down the right side, tables and chairs in the center, and high bistro seating along the left wall. Old gymnasium floors from a local school were repurposed and made into tables. Bleachers were used for decorative paneling. Light fixtures were created on site based on my inspirations. Two huge pieces of reclaimed wood slabs make up the bar. A well designed back bar area minimizes clutter. Team flags fly up above which cozies up the space.
