Bar area - Needing to block off some of the warehouse for safety reasons, we hung these tarps. I had no idea they had these cool ring stains until we unfolded them and started hanging them up. Back lighting the tarp wall created a nice warm glow. Ah ambiance.
Wood pallet menu board - A curated art exhibit for artist Leif Ilvedson.

Found gate - Installed at the top of the stairs to create some interest.
Darts - Leif had a dart board laying in the corner, so I decided to make it part of the experience for the night. We put it on a huge wooden door, which was uncovered during the remodeling process. The door was hung to block off a storage area.

EVENT DESIGN : THE STUDIO

As the event stylist for this private art show, I had the opportunity to turn a 6000+ SF raw warehouse space into an intimate evening for 200 guests. I began by creating vignettes where guests could explore, lounge, eat, imbibe, dance, or play. I used what was available, boxes, cans, tarps, gates, light fixtures, wood scraps, a metal trough, and other cool finds to divide up the space and create a welcoming atmosphere that was comfortable, appropriate, and intriguing.
