This project was required for us to do a self portrait using fonts as our medium. Not just regular
fonts but the methods we learned, vertical text, text on a path,vertical text on a path etc. Within
this project i mostly used the path tool and the object mesh and warp to define the shape and size
of the parts of the image. I was pleased with the end results, i loved how my leather jacket came
out with the word “LEATHER”, and how it formed the curves on the shoulders and waist.The way
the hair came out was also pleasing, but i could have put more volume on the bottom of the hair
using warped and mesh text. I was able to depict some sort of shadow on the eyelids and the
neck. But i could have put more shadow on the collar bones and hands. Speaking of hands I
could have done way better on it. It was just difficult to make the hands realistic using only text.
Overall i loved this project so much and I adored how the final piece came out.
