The album holder was designed for the X6 Photo Gallery in Budapest. My mission was to create mobile furniture that is capable of storing books, doesn't pose as an obstacle in viewing photos exhibited on walls and can highlight specific photos at the same time. Conforming with the space of the gallery and the instructions of the client, I designed an album holder that is place-specific, installation-like and from which albums pop out and float in space. By choosing the colour of the furniture, I considered white as an "airspace", a medium that literally "carries" the albums.
