Flat pack Table - Minimal waste

This flat pack table has been designed to be made from a standard piece of 1200mm x 1200mm piece of 15mm plywood with next to no material waste. Because of this, it can also be flattened down to very slimline 15mm thick.

The legs of the chair slot together, meaning minimal components are required to hold the table together. This slot assembly design is also amazingly strong, and prevents any movement within the structure.

The table top has an unusual profile, caused by the shape of the legs. Although this could be cut square easily, I have chosen to leave the design in this shape as a visual link between the assembled product and the tessellation of the flat form.
