The challenge of DESIGNSUMISURA was to minimize the visibility of unwieldy and anti-aesthetic cables and ventilation grilles, creating a clean and elegant product.
The modem is composed by the basis which contains the PCB card and by the aesthetic cover characterized by clean and compact lines which, once assembled, allows to hide the connectors otherwise visible and messy.
The cover, that rised gently on one side, creates a descreet slit where are allocated the LEDs, reducing their brightness often source of disturbance at night, while allowing ventilation of the underlying system. The central part of the lid becomes a comfortable support for electronic devices, such as smart phones, cameras, and other products rechargeable through the USB port on the cover.
In addition to the holes for the wall installation on the back, the product is equipped with a discrete support, that, besides allowing the possibility of hanging the device to the wall or to place it in the upright position, thereby reducing the overall dimensions, can be used to install the cables neatly.
Furthermore, thanks to the shape of the object, it is possible to house and store the connection cables in the lateral recess and in the covered basis.
