Bug House

During this year one of my two week projects was to create a flat pack product. After developing ideas around nature and the bird box area I wanted to develop this concept into providing a temporary habitat for bug life. I designed a linear bug home based on Daniel Libeskind's 18.36.54 house, I wanted to produce interlocking panels and shapes to produce an open but compact design at the same time. Throughout my project I focussed on producing a degradable product, I started by producing rough sketches using variety of angles and sharp edges. Once I had the initial concept from sketches and card models, I digitally created my design and produced my final product out of 2mm corrugated card.
