We motorized the board so that it slowly spins as you play, illuminated the sides, and added varying surface heights to the board- this not only helps to better draw the user’s attention to the board with the light and motions, it also enables the users to see the board from a different perspective with every move, allowing for more strategic and informed game play. Also, the varying tiles heights adds a subconscious level of strategy, as players can change an opponent’s perception of the importance of certain pieces, making them more noticeable or drawing attention away as necessary.
