Allele Game Character Prototype

-Work in Progress-
3D Printed Gypsum and ABS Plastic; painted
5.5" x 3" x 12.5"
2013

This piece is a prototype for a game based on recombinant genes; four players draw allele cards and combine them on individual Punnett square game boards. The resulting combination code corresponds to a unique body part that the player assembles onto their creature. The first player to create a creature with a complete body wins the game. This figure can be completely deconstructed at the ball-and-socket joints, and it demonstrates a randomized combination of body parts with some interchangeable parts featured in the foreground.
