This is a painting that was created for class based on the usage of complementary colors. Every color was painted the complementary of the color that existed in real life, then a second layer was added to the painting with its actual existing color as an overlay.
This is a symbolic self portrait I painted using acrylic paint and incorporated a watercolor technique. It was required that I have three elements of symbolism and a portion of my face depicted as well.
