The “Lambrequins”, or wooden ornaments used in wooden houses roofs, are considered a legend on the historical arquitecture of the city of Curitiba.
Their precise origins have long been lost, but their importance can be proved by a city law from 1919 that stated that every wooden house in the city should have lambrequins around the visible roof.
The Quim furniture set imprints these regional cultural values, combined with the fine handmade wood mansory from the city, into sustainable pieces with high aestetical value.
The materials used in the confection of the console and coffee tables are produced by certified local companies, and the processes aim to reduce the resources’ use and toxic emissions.
