MAGNA-TILES® Studio – Museum of Discovery and Science
Opened in April 2024, the world’s first MAGNA-TILES® Studio invites children to explore STEAM concepts through hands-on magnetic play. Using this intuitive and playful children’s toy, the exhibit explores patterns in nature, the science of color, magnetism, engineering, and creative design. With over 10,000 colorful tiles and five interactive zones—including a 3D build station, light and color area, and a whimsical “Garage” designed to inspire new ways to play with MAGNA-TILES at home—this permanent exhibit fosters fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and imaginative thinking through joyful, open-ended challenges.
