In class, we have started to learn about Adobe Illustrator and what we can use it or along with understanding the uses of the different tools. For this project in order to gain a better understanding on how we can use the type tool we had to do a project that focuses on the different Elements and Principles of Design. This project started with downloading the outline we were emailed and use the different text fonts to create the designs. For the Elements of Design we had to do: Line, Color, Shape, Texture, Form, Value and Space; and for the Principles of Design we had to do: Rhythm, Unity, Contrast, Pattern, Balance, Emphasis and Proportion.
In a composition, without the different elements and principles there would be no composition to be created. Each of the elements and principles give you something to add to the composition to make it a piece that is interesting.
