Signum — The glory of the Renaissance in the kingdom of Murcia.

Through more than sixty masterpieces created between the 15th and 17th centuries and the publication of a catalog, one of the great moments of art in Spain was reviewed.
The immersion in this period of the history of art has led us to investigate those first printed books, also dated at this time. In Aldo Manucio's printing works, you can find many of the resources that have shaped the book as we know it today. This is the starting point for the design of the exhibition graphics and the catalog, where respecting the work of the master printers of all times, an updated revision of the Renaissance book has been proposed. This inspiration is completed by the exclusive use of "Bembo" typeface family, designed by Francesco Griffo in 1495 for one of the Manucio printed books and taken back in 1929 by Monotype.
The exhibition took place between the months of July and November 2017 in Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia), within the framework of the activities programmed by the Jubilee Year 2017.
