Andres Marquinez (my own graphic identity) - The creation of the own visual identity will be one of the most difficult jobs for a graphic designer. This logo presents a typographical game which refers to a physical characteristic (the glasses), which in turn refers to the particular vision as a fundamental element of our profession. The letter "Q" is the starting point for the creation of the symbol for its formal characteristics, but also because it's a phonetic difference from other similar names.
MaroMero (Graphic Team) - Maromero is a Latinamerican word meaning: "acrobat, juggler, versatile"... and also is the contraction of the surnames MARquinez and ROMERO. A good name for a versatile team of graphic designers, with different profiles in the field of graphic design.
A Tarot for Macondo (Symbol) - A powerful image for a own self graphic design project: A Tarot based on the work 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. A seal that synthesizes: The newborn child pig-tailed, Mauricio Babilonia yellow butterflies and the gold fishes of the Colonel Aureliano Buendia.
75% Agua (Art Exposition) - A simple logo that enhances the shape of a Roman letter, with endings-serifs-curved, organic shaped drops. The percentage symbol is transformed into two bubbles and a kind of intermediate wave. The line colors, gradients of blue to lighter blue and more green.
Aleph Corp. (Audiovisual) - It needed to create a symbol for a fictitious company within a film, that would be disturbing as a sectarian religious symbol-esoteric and to transmit the dark coldness of a corporation. The centerpiece of the whole film is "a feeling of Dejabu". As design tape 'Moebius' amended. Through the name was used a typographic-two points-allowing their mental association to the position of a digital clock in a game to take advantage of graphics and animation later.
La Escalera de Jacob (Bar & Theater) - From an engraving by Robert Fludd, that the client had previous image, we made a graphic synthesis that maintains the original structure. The typeface was changed after a letter with enough character but friendlier, closer to the warmth of the Bar, its furnishings and the spirit that he wanted to associate.
Mala Malena (Fashion Designer) - A cool job for a young fashion designer with a rebellious attitude. MALA MALENA modern designs handbags, satin-like blend of synthetic materials, colors, etc.. The work began with the development of a name (naming) that part of a sound game by the name of the owner, to reinforce the idea of mischief and a certain aspect of their baroque creations.
Hispanics: in the United States of America (International Seminar) - A contrast of images: a Senefe reminiscent tissue or pre-Columbian cylindrical seal impressed. Superimposed on the star shape, a clear reference to the American flag complete the meaning. Senefe used in the colors of red and yellow Spanish flag, meaning it is not just a Latin American congress, but "Hispanic".
Spanish Way (Fashion Magazine) - The logo and header of this magazine is a typographical wink, a Roman letter with lots of character is 'bite' a Script typeface referring to codes of fashion, glamour, etc.
Faculty of Humanities (National University of Colombia) - A design based on a pre-Columbian stamp. A moon, a sun intertwined and progression of a square becomes a circle... Represent the cyclic, complementarity and the relationship between man and his environment. The colors are close to harmonics of the Colombian flag.
Amani Colective (ONG)
Innovatrade (Import-Export Company) - This company engaged in international trade (Import-Export) and representation of products needed a modern image, evoking a sound and wide dynamic horizon that is transported "something" from one end to the other (point of i).
La Redicha (Restaurant & Bar) - A typical restaurant from Madrid with a label whose sonorous name had always had an 'R' rotated. He adjusted the logo changed to a classic typeface in caps and that put a leaf symbol is extracted from a former forge.
Maisha (Restaurant & Cafeteria) - The proposal was made from a custom-font-imitating-devaganari Sanskrit alphabet and their strokes. To give more visual impact is used within a form as a seal which refers to the decorations, bows and Indian forms.
