This original comic book cover concept features Daybreak, a character created from my son’s imagination and brought to life through my interpretation as an artist. Using reference images he selected to represent his vision, I developed the character from scratch—translating his ideas into a fully realized design through detailed sketching and refined ink work.
The piece serves as both a personal collaboration and a foundational concept for a potential comic book cover. Strong line work and bold inking give the character a dynamic presence, while preserving the originality and excitement of a first iteration. Created as a test print design, Daybreak represents the beginning of a larger creative journey—where imagination, storytelling, and family inspiration come together on the page.
