Vox – Mixed Media Character Illustration
This piece is a stylized illustration of Vox from Hazbin Hotel, created using a blend of traditional and digital techniques. The character was first hand-drawn and colored with markers to establish bold tones and texture, then refined and enhanced in Adobe Photoshop to sharpen details, adjust contrast, and elevate the overall visual impact.
The workflow emphasizes a hybrid approach—capturing the organic feel of traditional media while leveraging digital tools for precision and polish. Special attention was given to maintaining the character’s sharp, electric aesthetic, with clean linework and vibrant color transitions that reflect Vox’s high-energy, screen-inspired design.
This project highlights my ability to integrate analog and digital processes, refine character-driven artwork, and produce presentation-ready visuals suitable for portfolio and print.
