WTB Orthographics of the Frame-
This frame and base are made entirely out of reclaimed wood. Two by fours make up the framing for the slats; and it all sits on two, 51.5" long, beam segments.

Shadow Detail--
The 1.5" x .75" surface slats are the only newly-purchased part of the bench. The organic, sickle-shaped shadows cast from the eucalyptus leaves, make for an interesting contrast, playing off of the geometric lines of the skinny slats.

Welcome Tree Bench-
I wanted the create a sitting area in the corner of the backyard--to utilize the shade of a recently-planted eucalyptus tree--, primarily by using reclaimed wood, left behind by the previous homeowner.
