City Cycle : Wireless Bike Share - City Cycle is a bicycle share program for the city of Philadelphia. City Cycle will integrate the use of cell phones in locating the shared city bicycles. To accomplish this goal City Cycle will create a service system in which members would use their cell phone to locate, reserve, unlock, and lock the bicycles. The benefits would include a monthly rate that will be lower than buying a bicycle, access to a bicycle at any time, and bicycle maintenance provided by the company. This service will provide the user with a less expensive way to commute around Philadelphia. Wireless tracking will also relieve the members from the burden of returning the bicycle to a designated rack.
DNAndrew : Self Reference Display - A self reference project. The idea was to construct a model with images of myself and experiences that best described me. Since DNA is unique to everyone and incredibly small in size the decision to construct the model to only stand three and a half inches tall allowed the viewer to have to use a six powered magnifying glass to view this project.
Collapsible Island : Personal Project - In young, urban lifestyles, it is often hard to acquire nice furniture that is also easy to move between apartments. This collapsible island is designed to be the easiest way to transport a large counter space. The island stands three feet six inches tall with two feet by four feet counter space. There are no tools required for assembly or disassembly and most of the components can be stored inside. When collapsed the total height is only ten inches.
Exhibition Design : Senior ID Show - The objective of this project was to use work from thirty students and display them combining the idea of two and three dimensional objects. Working within a small team I was responsible for both the design and construction.
