Location photography is an area of photography I enjoy because of the freedom it allows and in contrary the challenges it holds, as well as the use of natural light to achieve the desired effect. Through my location photography I have explored the idea of place and space.
Colour, Space and Light
The first three images are part of a series that explores colour, light and space within different rooms inside one house.
Southend-on-Sea
These images focus on the British seaside and the traditions we hold within our seaside resorts.
Re-colour
The last three images were taken within a forest. They explore how colours within the forest are ever changing. Along side the original images I displayed photographs that had been mounted on steel and left in the forest for a period of time. Over time these also changed colour with the changing colours of the forest.
