When plastic bags were banned in cities like Hong Kong, Melbourne, San Francisco & Kampala we took the opportunity to develop a foldable shopping bag as an environmentally friendly alternative
Together with NAWOU (National Association of Organizations in Uganda), I developed with womens groups new products through participatory design processes and sustainable product development, which enables the women to continue the creative methods without external support in the future
