This project was an introduction to Arduino, where we learnt how Arduino software worked and did some basic coding, We were told to either find a way to reduce energy consumption or increase the amount of energy made.
ALgen is a replacement for the everyday lamp post that is powered by algae. The system is run completely by Arduino.
Not only is ALgen a lamp post but it is also a charging station for a cellphone or an iPad that uses induction charging methods. All the energy provided comes from the algae within the pods.
