The Beatles Poster (Collage)
The Beatles Poster - Made out of magazine and newspaper cut outs. The theme of the poster was light colours, which represent anyhting which is soft and ethereal. Light colors are more associated with a light and happy mood.
I chose Beatles because the kind of rock and roll music they played, connects with the youth be it in 1950's or today. The different colors used in the poster are a way of representing the four individual members of the band as well as the different music genres they experimented with ranging from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock, often incorporating classical elements in innovative ways.
