The film is about old lady, Prabha who has lost the purpose of life after her husband's death. Her only daughter, Ruchi is unable to help her because of her hectic urban life. She finally calls the NGO and young NGO volunteer, Roma comes in Prabha's life. She helps Prabha to find her path which ultimately leads to dignified , happy life.
My primary research involved visiting old age homes, interviewing elderly suffering from psycho-social issues, accompanying field trips conducted by NGOs working with elderly in Mumbai. Working with my guide Prof Nina Sabnani, IDC, IIT Bombay, I drafted a story which focuses on the necessity of a dignified life for senior citizens.
For this film, combination of 2D animation and hand painted water-colour background is used. Visual narration is complimented with Indian classical music and the film used three different Ragas to heighten the emotions.
