Hub Motor Exploded - This kit is meant to provide the ability to convert a typical car into a hybrid electric vehicle. It replaces a traditional brake assembly with an assembly that plays three roles: 1) Hub-Motor 2)Generator 3) Electro-Magnetic Braking System.

This was a simple solidworks assembly that depicted a hypothetical solution for retro-fitting current vehicles with an electric motor/generator. Polarity on the electromagnets would be controlled through an onboard computer to either propel or slow the vehicle.
