The Stars by: H.A.Rey_Publication Redesign
This is a book redesign project I completed for a Publication Design course at MCAD. The project involved taking an existing reference publication and redesigning it for a wider audience.
The publication I chose, entitled 'The Stars by H.A.Rey, creator of Curious George. He created 'The Stars' to present a new vision of the constellations with a more digestible presentation.
Utilizing Rey's same constellation maps, I redesigned the look to present the publication in a retro, yet modern minimalist way. The finished product includes a book jacket and hand-made hardcover.
