I had the opportunity to see some of the painting at the National Museum, London while working on this project, it was helpful when ensuring color quality. Steve Fossett's plane disappeared just when this project was at printing stage. The Sky High Adventure chapter was re-written and edited to update the disappearance of Steve's flight for Adventures in the Air Book.
