Intro - The first thing that any designer brings to a project is personality
Process - I do not believe in strict development processes. All I know is that there is a nebulous of ideas, methods and skills that need to be appropriated to best suit the needs of the client. The more aware the designer is of these aspects and the more skilfully they can be harnessed the better the out come of the project.
Idea Mapping - The best thing to do after receiving a brief is to get all of the initial ideas out in essence for. Otherwise we can become precious about them and continue to refine them mentally. Recording them in words and very simple sketches keeps them flexible and frees our thinking to move on to new areas.
Concept Generation - Next I explore the area around each idea. Often the aim of a concept is to embody a group of key features rather than to be a design option. After these features have been assessed, the concepts can be reconstructed into a variety of more formal design routes.

Evaluation - Often when evaluating designs, one aspect of the concept can overshadow the others. To negate the ‘Halo Effect’ as much as possible it is essential to analyse each aspect of the concept individually and present the findings in a variety of ways, where things like shape recognition will determine our evaluations rather than subjective feelings.
Design Focus - Different elements of the concepts are now recombined to create more solid design routes
Photoshop renders - Photoshop renders take a little longer, but are useful when exploring different colour ways
Illustrator renders - Illustrator renders are really useful when adding a bit of colour to technical drawings and when developing graphic and display options
Photoshop renders
Illutrator renders
Rhino Model - The final modifications were made through Pro-E or Rhino models and then rendered in Cinema 4D
Graphic Elements - Using Photoshop and Illutrator, different graphical elements can be overlayed onto a basic rendering
User Interface - User interfaces can be explored bay quickly overlaying them onto a render
