For this project, I was required to make a cover for the NYC high school directory. I had to incorporate different elements such as boroughs, races, and transportation into my design. First, I created the different train labels in Adobe Photoshop. I arranged them so that they would look balanced; colors and all. Next, I looked for watercolor images on google and brought a good looking one into Photoshop as a new file. I selected the watercolor blotch, copied and pasted into the original file that contained the train labels. Then, I made two more and changed their colors using the hue/saturation tool. I placed them to compliment the train labels. Finally, I placed the text that was provided for me in one of the watercolor blotches and I was done!
