Sunshine Trail was created from concept to production. I designed custom prints using collection colorway and had them produced at Spoonflower. Inspired by the Tea Collection brand and children's every day life of learning and exploration. The ease of children dressing themselves was an important consideration. All garments were constructed thoughtfully, with no closures. Conscious choices in fabric and production result in a product that fits Tea's philosophy, that children are global citizens.
Original patterns were constructed through flat and draped patterning methods. My materials came from mixed sources. My original surface designs were printed at Spoonflower, using organic cotton and responsible methods of production.
