Process: Abstracting Gesture - After observing groups of people gathering, talking and resting in public spaces I abstracted their conversational gestures, echoing them in the form of the furniture itself. The gestural seats add an element of play and transformation to unoccupied spaces, encouraging people to sit and use the furniture together.
