Postcard Beach House
The Post Card Memorial in Staten Island, New York inspired this sea facing house. The clients are orphan twins who wanted the house to reflect their parents’ memories. Since the clients love cooking the kitchen had to be the focus. The house is double height with the living room at d ground level and the kitchen over looking the living room. It has two separate bedrooms. One of the bathrooms has a sunken tub with the base in sandstone to give an effect of being one with the outside beach.
