Green Design Guides for Design Professionals –IoT Industry
This capstone project aims to create a website helping designers to make “environmental friendly” decisions. Life Cycle Assessments are conducted for various product groups such as light bulbs, displays, cell phones etc. and design strategies are suggested based on the environmental impact. The content and “design” of the website are improved based on the feedback from designers. Opportunity spaces – waste management for instance – is addressed with IoT products.
