Beat-Block
This project was completed in my Metals II class in the Spring Semester at RISD. The exercise aimed to practice milling machine operations on the Bridgeport using a simple block of wood.
Beat Block was a two day project which involved creating jig for the angled conical hole. The design allows the iPhone to be amplified by a simple disposable cup. As the cup also acts as a volume control as it turns.
