AVIO PURE

The goal of this project was to design a mid price point lightweight version of the AVIO with the goal weight of 220g. We also wanted to use existing parts from the AVIO including the fit system, eyewear grippers, & rear webbing hanger to keep costs low. The project began w sketches and moved to 3D quickly. We printed several full size prints of different designs to evaluate fit, function, aesthetics, and weight. The result is a more compact and lightweight design that meets the requirements of cyclists as well as Bollé sales & marketing.
