The Nevada Neo project began with exploring different solutions of how to securely lock the lens frame to the goggle frame. Once a mech direction was chosen 2D & 3D details began to take shape. During the prototype process we decided we needed to go in a different locking mech direction as the first direction wasn't functioning as we had hoped or planned. The design mech was updated and validated through 3D printing with just enough time to meet the deadline for production. The result is an easy to use intuitive lock design we've dubbed EYELATCH that holds the lens securely to the goggle frame in the event of a crash.
