The FURO MIPS & EXO cycling helmets were designed in tandem. The process began with tons of sketches and a few half scale foam models sculpted by hand. I quickly moved into 3D (solidworks) to print full size models and dial in the fit and to evaluate/refine the new Bollé design language aesthetic. I worked closely with engineering to solve any testing issues and the other numerous problems we encountered during the development process. The result is a highly ventilated lightweight cycling helmet that allows Bollé to compete in this highly competitive helmet market.
