The Hot D8 Campaign

As a response to the NO H8 campaign, I recruited a bunch of comedians (featured here: Cameron Esposito, Claudia Cogan, Chris Doucette, Eliot Glazer, Negin Farsad, Marcos Sanchez and Mindy Raf) to pose for parody images. We felt confused by the NO H8 campaign. While well-intentioned, NO H8 produced glamorous, but mixed messages. Who is being silenced? Does glamorous lighting eliminate hate? Can hate be photoshopped away? We used our photos to help promote a comedy show, and then donated proceeds from the show to Lambda Legal. We ended up getting a bit of press as well (see link).
